How it Works
The concept behind the Ten Dollar Club is simple: If many people contribute a modest amount of their resources to a project, they can do more than any could have done alone. Together, members of the Ten Dollar Club are able to provide grants of $50,000 for land purchase and church building construction for new churches. One hundred percent of Ten Dollar Club member contributions go to projects. No administration or Club promotion expense is taken from these gifts.
Members pledge between $50 and $500 over the course of a year and receive 5 call letters asking for one-fifth of the amount they pledged. Members can choose to pay their pledge in one payment. Each call letter includes a newsletter that gives an update on the latest projects.
There are four different levels of membership in the Ten Dollar Club:
- Members Circle: This is the basic level of membership for members who pledge $50 over the year.
- Builders Circle: This level of membership includes those who have the resources to pledge $100 over the year.
- Growers Circle: This level of membership includes those who have the resources to pledge $250 over the year.
- Disciples Circle: This is the highest level of membership and includes those who are blessed with resources and able to pledge $500 or more over the year.
